01 / ON THE WALL

The same sky.
A new chapter.

Bright yellow lettering. Deep blue shadows. Clouds that carry the sky down onto the wall. Explore the original mural and the proposal for its next chapter.

02 / THE PROJECT

A place worth
caring for.

The Severn Bridge Tunnel Art Project brings colour and care to an everyday route through Thornwell.

Artist T PINK has spent years painting and looking after this space. Its sky-blue walls and playful murals invite people to slow down, look around and discover something along the way.

The next chapter puts the tunnel itself at the heart of the artwork: a place for walkers, cyclists, runners, neighbours and visitors alike.

A shared route

Enjoy the artwork and leave room for other people passing through. If you stop for a photograph, keep the path clear.

Look a little closer

Notice the shadows beneath the letters, the clouds crossing the colour, and the way the painted sky changes the feel of the space.
